Hello,
Assalamualaikum. I am Md Ariful Hasan, an English Instructor in the Pathways and Foundation Program at the Asian University for Women (AUW), Chattogram, with about twelve years of English teaching experience in Bangladesh. With a deep passion for teaching and an extensive academic background, I am committed to establishing myself as a highly respected and effective English language and literature educator.
I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English from Jagannath University, where I distinguished myself as an enthusiastic student. I completed a second Master's degree in English Language Teaching (ELT) from the Kathmandu University in Nepal, furthering my language teaching and learning expertise. I also completed a professional course, CELTA ( Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), from the University of Cambridge.
At AUW, I teach English to multilingual students at CEFR levels A1–B2 and take part in the university's Shadow Teaching initiative. Previously, as a Lecturer at the University of Creative Technology Chittagong, I was known for my ability to engage students with my dynamic teaching style and my commitment to providing a supportive learning environment. I am known for my creative teaching strategies, including the use of multimedia resources, role-playing, and interactive group work, which encourage students to actively participate in the learning process and develop their critical thinking skills.
Beyond the classroom, I am also involved in various scholarly pursuits, including research, publishing, and professional development.
